Our Medical-grade Chemical Peels treat various forms of skin issues. Chemical peels are clinical treatments designed to exfoliate or remove the outer layers of skin. These solutions are used to assist in the drying up of active acne, dislodgement and purging of blackheads, reducing superficial wrinkles and scarring, improving the appearance of mature changing skin, rectifying sun damage, and modifying and lightening pigmentary disorders (sun or age spots) including rosacea and melasma.
Microdermabrasion is the most effective, non-invasive skin resurfacing process available. Using a specially designed handpiece, a spray of crystals is directed onto the skin at a high velocity and then immediately vacuumed away, resulting in the removal of the top layer of the strateum corneum. The fresh skin just below the surface is then exposed, creating a glowing new complexion. You may return to normal activity immediately, and can be combined with facials, chemical peels or laser procedures. Microdermabrasion can be effective in reducing the appearance of: • Hyperpigmentation • Fine Lines and Winkles • Acne Scars • Blending Post-Laser areas • Sun Damage • Uneven Skin Tones • Enlarged Pores • Age Spots Results will be noticeable from the first treatment, however a full treatment protocol is 5-8 treatments with one treatment every 10-14 days and maintenance visits every 2-3 months thereafter.
Automated Micro-Needling (also known as Percutaneous Collagen Induction Therapy or PCIT) is a new innovation in aesthetic medicine for the treatment of fine lines, acne scars and improvement of the skin’s overall appearance. During this procedure, tiny needles are used to create controlled micro-injuries to the skin in order to produce collagen and elastin. A topical serum is also applied to clean skin (in most cases your practitioner will use a hyaluronic acid) this soothing product is chosen to help the Collagen P.I.N. Safety Micro-needle Cartridge glide smoothly across the skin’s surface while delivering the mechanical injury necessary to bring about the necessary change, and simultaneously delivering Hyaluronic Acid (HA) – the building blocks for healthy new skin – deep into the skin. The skin’s repair process results in a thicker dermis with the appearance of softer wrinkles. Automated micro-needling also creates superficial micro-channels which allow topical serums, and creams to be absorbed more effectively into the skin.
